I added a new element to this weblog on the left hand side called "Poems, Prayers, & Promises." One of biggest questions I have asked about my accident is "why." One of the best answers is found in a poem written by Dr. Jack Hyles entitled "Why?" -- please check it out.
From time to time I plan to share additional items that touch me and that I hope will encourage you as we walk through this life together--whether we want to or not.

About Mike
In 1983, My son Mike was in a car accident . He was 18 at the time. In the accident he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). It left him with some memory loss and cortically blind (CVI). The good news is that he loves the Lord and has a passion to share that love. His purpose in life (the reason I believe God let him live) is to encourage you, give you hope for the struggles and problems that you may be facing. In this weblog, we are working together to accomplish that purpose.
